Boxes Are In – December 31

Our boxes today look great.  There was a shortage of fruit at the Farmers Market today but we made up for it in Veggies…Todays boxes include Iceberg Lettuce, cabbage, Onions, mushrooms, green beans, broccoli, bell peppers, Roma tomatoes, cucumbers, bananas, apples and pineapple. 

Next Box January 14th.  Payment Due date is Sunday January 12th.

Boxes Are In – December 17

As you can see from the above picture, today’s boxes are phenomenal! And that is just a picture of the regular box.  So just IMAGINE what the Holiday box we offered today looks like.  A large part of that was because we had 19 people today.  A larger number of people participating means more produce every time.  So refer your friends to our website because we’d love to have them join us! You can even use one of the Share buttons at the end of this post.  It make it so easy to share on sites like Facebook.

In today’s regular $15 box, we have Collard Greens, Romaine lettuce, celery, corn, baking potatoes, tangelos, grapefruit, carrots, asparagus, sweet potatoes, red bell peppers, zucchini, and pink lady apples.  Holiday boxes (those who paid an extra $5) received the same items only they have an entire 8 lb bag of baking potatoes, a 3 lb bag of Golden Delicious apples, a pineapple, and extra corn and sweet potatoes.

Please remember that Marsha is out of town so unless you specifically asked Marsha to have her daughter transport your produce box to Marsha’s house, all boxes are to be picked up from Kasey’s home this week.  If you need her address again, please email her at kpquiller@hotmail.com.  She leaves her garage door unlocked so please just walk into the garage and take the box with your name.  And don’t forget to take from the extras box as well. There are a few extra sweet potatoes, baking potatoes, carrots, and Romaine.

The next box will be a regular box on Tuesday, December 31st.  We hope everyone enjoys the holiday and we’ll see you again on New Year’s Eve!

Boxes Are In – December 3

Today in our boxes we have romaine, tomatoes, bell peppers, avocados, cauliflower, broccoli, banana and apples. We also got a deal on a SOME pineapples that we couldn’t turn down.  Most boxes have one, although for those very few who did not, we did add some extras of other things to make up for it.  We hope everyone is still pleased with today’s boxes.  The next box will be, Tuesday December 17 and will be put together by the original Produce Box Girls, Kasey and Laura.

Please remember that we need EVERYONE to return their crates as we are completely out of the good sized ones…  These are not easy to come by so please plan to drop off your unfilled crates each time you pick up a newly filled one.  WE DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH FOR OUR NEXT BOX.  So if you forget to bring them today when you pick up, please bring them by before the end of the week.

Here is the Dec. time line again as a reminder and something you can easily refer to.

December Time Line

Dec. 13th – Last day for payment for Dec. 16th box or Holiday box  $15.00 or Holiday Box $20.00

Dec.  13th – Last day to give notice where you want to pick your box up.  Kasey’s or Marsha’s house. Default pick up will be Kasey’s house.

Dec.  16th – pick up boxes at Kasey’s or Marsha’s house.

Dec. – 29th – Last day for payment for Dec. 31st box.

Dec. 31st – Pick up boxes at Marsha’s

Again Kasey lives in the Turner Farms subdivision.  We will send an email with her address to all those who will be picking up there.  Boxes will be ready for pick up at 8am.

Boxes Are In – November 19

Boxes for today are ready for pick up.  They include both sweet and baking potatoes, celery, onions, tomatoes, green beans, lemons, apples, and cantaloupe. For those who got the holiday box, you’ll notice extras of these things like baking and sweet potatoes, celery, and onion. These boxes also have a pineapple and cranberries to be added to their holiday feasts.

Reminder:  The next box is Dec. 3…Payment is due by Sunday Dec. 1st.

Boxes Are In – November 5th

Todays boxes are filled with Poblano peppers, avocados, tomatoes, cabbage, zucchini, broccoli, Sweet potatoes, bananas, strawberries, apples, and oranges. 
 
Next box is Nov. 19th payment is due for this box by Sunday Nov 17th.  It will be our holiday box so if you are interested in the extras the cost will be $20.  The $15 box is still available also.
